2023 makes 13 years Family Values For Life has hosted their back to school event. With just a staff of less than 10 people, their stretch goes wide by looking to providing over three thousand backpacks to the area students and families.
If you are looking to make a presence in the community and share valuable resources this space is just right for you!
By contributing both your time and resources you bring an immeasurable value to the community. We are excited to have a passport system for each family that will ensure your organization will connect with community and families will get the resources and connections they need. Passport system: After families register they will be given a passport where they choose a minimum of 10 resource tables to visit. Once their passport is complete they will be able to move through the event and get their backpacks with school supplies.
We will have 50 tables available for Community Resource partners, Area East Side Businesses, nonprofit and area friends and family.
Please sign up before August 4th to guarantee a table at the event!

We are looking for individuals and teams to volunteer thorough the day! Set up starts at 9am – clean up starts at 7:30pm.
Session 1: 9:00am – 12:00pm
- Help with Event Set Up
Session 2: 11:30am – 2:30pm
- Help with Event Set Up
Session 3: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Help with Event Set Up
Session 4: 4:00pm – 7:30pm
- Volunteer in different areas of need, whether it be with community resources, handing out backpacks, food or clothes!
Session 5: 7:15pm – 9:00pm
- Help with Event Clean Up
