Mother Daughter Tea

The 6th Annual Mother’s Daughter Tea is a celebratory affair for the Jump Start To The New You Program. At this event Certificate of Completion are awarded to Jump Start participants who complete phase one or two of the program. Other awards to participants include: Most Improved, Most Valuable Volunteer, Perfect Attendance, and the Motivator Award. In addition, FVFL’s Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to the person from the community who donated the most volunteer hours during the previous year.
Golf Classic

Family Values for Life Golf Classic supports the 7th Annual Back to School Event and summer programs. Through events like this FVFL is able to serve more than 3,000 individuals in St. Paul.
Summer Camps
July 10 – August 18
FVFL partners with First Covenant Church, Clyde Turner Basketball Camp, Tony Sanneh Soccer Camp. Arlington Hills Community Center and other community groups to provide camps and summer programs for children and youth during the months of July and August. The purpose of the camps is to provide safe activities for elementary through high school students. Back To School Event
August 30
Our 7th annual Back To School Event will be held at Bruce Vento Elementary School, located at 409 Case Avenue East. The event is a community resource fair during which over 40 community organizations set up resource tables and distribute information to families. Over 800 low income families are served during this event, and more than 2,100 backpacks filled with school supplies are distributed to K-12 students. Recipients are families and students from the Eastside and other surrounding communities. Over 100 volunteers work with us each year to make this event possible.
