FVFL has received a $20,000 grant from the McNeely Foundation! This award is helping FVFL grow by hiring two much needed assistants! Chrissy Thomas and Courtney Lovelace started in May to work specifically with FVFL’s Wilder Wednesdays Program and our Summer Youth Camps.
FVFL also received a fantastic $25,000 award from the St. Paul Foundation to fund our Community Outreach Advocate who will work closely with the East Side community to connect Moms to the Jump Start program. These new staff members will be critical in growing our programs Thank you McNeely and St. Paul Foundation for your confidence in our programming!
In addition to our new staff we have been joined this summer by some fantastic interns! We welcome Lisa Ramsey from Metropolitan State University, John Riley from Experience Works, and Lizzy Busta, a student from Hamline University who is volunteering as an intern for the summer. We are so excited to have new staff in our office!
